Emile Nowlan, 95 of Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Saturday December 22, 2012. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, he was the son of the late Daniel and the late Marie (Girouard) Nowlan. Emile was married to the late Eva (Mercure) Nowlan.
He was a fisherman for most of his life and he was also a veteran of World War 11.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Jacqueline Leblanc (Oscar) of Notre-Dame, Loretta Melanson (Valmond) of Cocagne, Marie-Rita Hébert (Walter)of Saint-Antoine, Emerile (Rose-Eva), Gérald (Maria), Fernand (Noella) all of Sainte-Anne de Kent, his brothers: Léonce (Olive) of Bouctouche, Laurie and Royal of Sainte-Anne de Kent, his twenty grandchildren ,his eighteen great grandchildren, his one great great granchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
Emile was predeceased by one son Paul, three sisters: Rita, Loretta and Cécilia and one granddaughter Marcia.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l`église, Bouctouche, on Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 7 to 9pm, and on Thursday December 27, 2012 from 9 to 10:30am at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Thursday December 27, 2012 at 11:00am, with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Emile`s memory donations to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste would be appreciated by the family.
