Murielle Maillet

Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB – Murielle Maillet, 62, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Bouctouche Bay on August 12, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Aldéo and Philomène (Mallet) Poirier.

Murielle will be sadly missed by her son Marcel (Melissa) of Mundleville; her two daughters, Carole LeBlanc (Stéphane) of Moncton and Joanne LeBlanc (Sylvio) of Richibouctou-Village; her mother, Philomène of Bouctouche; two brothers, Herman Poirier (Yvonne) of St-Norbert and Cyril Poirier (Nicole) of Dieppe; her four sisters, Aldéa LeBlanc (André) of Moncton, Anne-Marie Gaudet (Léo) of Cap-Pelé, Simonne Allain (Maurice) and Denise Collette (Noël), both of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; seven grandchildren, Micheline, Isabelle, Justin, Jeremy, Melanie, Sylvain and Zavier; her special friend, Alonzo Cormier; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hervé Maillet.

Visitations will be at the Ste-Marie-de-Kent RC Church slumber room on Thursday, April 25, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 pm until time of funeral at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel RC Church at 7 pm.
