Dieppe, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrcus Twohig, 99, who passed away at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013. Wife of the late Arthur A. Twohig
Born in Seal Rock, St. George’s, NFLD, she was the daughter of the late James and the late Margaret (nee Marke) Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole Fitzgerald (Robert) Steinbach, MB; her two sons, Bruce (Velma) of Dieppe, NB & Stephen (Margaret) of Moncton, NB; her sister, Mary Alice (Mae) Robicheau, Saulnierville NS; she is also survived by her nine grandchildren, her eight great grandchildren and by one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, husband, Myrcus was predeceased by her brother Charles Bennett
Donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home, funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, corner of West Lane, Moncton on Wednesday, June 26th, 2013 at 7:00pm. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
