Grande-Digue – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Roy, passed away accidently on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the age of 18.

Born in Moncton on February 7, 1994, he was the son of Norbert and Elize (Haché) Roy.

Beside his parents, Norbert and Elize of Grande-Digue, he will be sadly missed by his sister, Véronique Roy of Grande-Digue, his maternal grandmother, Esther Godin Haché (Gilbert) of Nigadoo; his eight uncles, Serge Haché (Pauline) of
Petit-Rocher, Gilles Haché (Carole) of Beresford, Gabriel Roy (Nicole) of Petit-Rocher, Ulric Roy (Martha) of Beresford, Roméo Roy (Lyne) of Madran, Rodrigue Roy (Jeanne) of Robertville, Réjean Roy (Chantal) of St-Eustache, QC, Jean-Yves Roy of Bathurst ; his nine aunts, Annie Arseneau (Hervé) of Beresford, Claudia Arseneau (Clairmond) of Petit-Rocher, Nicole Roy (Donald) of Moncton, Milita Chiasson (Bill) of Bathurst, Odette Roy (Rhéal) of Pigeon Hill, Rachel Arseneau (Jean-Louis) of Nigadoo, Diane Roy (Allain) of Nigadoo, Carmelle Roy (Normande) of Tracadie, Sylvie Roy (Donald) of Beresford;
his cousins who loved him very much, Vanessa, Luc, Isabelle, Renée-Claude, Séverine, Josiane, Jolyn, Anthony,
Solange, Jacqueline, Vincent, Eric, Nathalie, Nadine, Rémi, Kevin, Steven, David, Dany, Mathieu, Stéphanie, Gino,
Denis, Julie, Marie-Josée, Mylène, Marc, Benoit and Marc-André.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Octave Haché in 2008; his paternal grand-father, Nicholas Roy in 1998; his paternal grand-mother, Alphonsine (Arseneau) Roy in 2002 and his uncle Guildas Roy.

Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, August 28 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, August 29 from 9:30 to 10:30. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, August 29 at 11 am.

Donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
