Born in Saint-Anne-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Aurèle and the late Doréa Basque (nee Pitre).
Nicole will be sadly missed by her husband, Sandy MacMillan of Saint-Charles, by her children, Anna Augustine (Joe) of Rexton, Linda Thompson (Serge Pellerin) of Dieppe, Angel Nevin (Moin) of Saint-Charles, Tara Thompson (Robert Tito Daigle) of Richibouctou; by her step-sons, Nicholas MacMillan of PEI and Mitchell MacMillan of PEI; by her sisters, Jeannine Cormier of Dieppe, Thérèse Collette (late Johnny) of Bouctouche; by her brothers, Jean-Paul Basque (Anne Robichaud) of Saint-Anne-de-Kent, Gérald Basque (Diane Surette) of Moncton, Jean-Claude Basque (Monica Augustine) of Chappell Point, Robert Basque (Juanita Nini) of Saint-Anne-de-Kent and Denis Basque (Linda) of Saint-Antoine; by her sister-in-law, Rose Basque of Fredericton; by her brother-in-law: Joseph Cormier of Bouctouche; by her grandchildren, Chelsie, Trinity, Tristan, Kameron, Bella, Jeremy, Florence, Alexandra and Colby; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gilles and Maurice Basque
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 from 9:30am till the time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from Passage Funeral Chapel, Shediac Bridge on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at 11:00am with Phil Mulligan officiating.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation or the Food Depot Alimentaire Inc. would be appreciated by the family.
