It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicole Collette, 61, surrounded by family, on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Collette, she was the daughter of Ovila and Adeline Martin (Doiron).
Besides her parents, Nicole will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Normand Collette; her sisters: Sandra (Eugene) Cormier of Dieppe, Geraldine (Raymond) LeBlanc of Rosaireville, and Monique (Giovanni) Chiasson of Collette; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nicole worked for 38 years at Maid-Exect in Riverview. She was an avid bingo player and loved bowling. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to French Acadian music, especially artists such as Cayouche and 1755.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of The Moncton Hospital, especially Brenda, for the great care they have provided. Also, a special thank you to the staff of the Extra-Mural as well as Integrity Home Health Services.
In respect Nicole’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Nicole can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

I will always remember Nicole with a big smile on her face, joking around and a social butterfly. I met her over 20 years ago at the Police Detachment in Riverview where I worked and she worked as a cleaner. I continued working for the RCMP and my job moved to Dieppe. I was happy that Nicole also cleaned there. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed and remembered as a great colleague.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincerest condolences to the family. Nicole was such a joy to work alongside, always smiling, joking and caring… we greatly missed her when she moved on from cleaning where I worked. She’ll be remembered fondly, that’s for sure.

Nicole worked with me at the firehall in Dieppe and I always enjoyed time spent with her. She was a bubbly presence and a hard worker. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing and offer my most sincere condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

Nicole brought joy to us at work at the OCC. She worked so hard and took such good care of us, always going the extra mile, smiling and joking all the way. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Nicole. My deepest sympathies to your family.
