Notre-Dame-de-Kent – Noëlla LeBlanc, 69, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Sunday, November 27, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Notre-Dame, on December 25, 1941, she was the daughter of Marguerite (Goguen) Léger and the late Yvon Léger.
Besides her mother, Marguerite of Notre-Dame, she will be sadly missed by her second husband, René LeBlanc, her two daughters, Ginette Pennell (Steven) of Oshawa, ON and Caroline Cormier (Léo-Paul) of Notre-Dame; her granddaughter, Sidney; her three sisters, Sylvia Léger (late Hervé), Raymonde Léger (Aldérice) and Rose-Ella LeBlanc (John), all of Notre-Dame; her sister in-law, Jeannette (late Gilles) of Moncton; her six brothers, Jean-Marie (Lucille) of Leominster, Mass, Rhéal of Fitchburg, Mass, Valmond (Dianne) of Templeton, Mass, Emery (Muriel) of Hubbardston, Mass, Yvon Jr. (Louise) of Gardner, Mass and Royal (Pam) of East Templeton, Mass; her five stepchildren, Joanne, Maurice, Jacques, Gisèle, Danny and step grandchildren; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Emery Cormier (1994), a brother, Gilles (2005) and an infant brother, Royal (1956).
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, November, 30th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, December 1st from 9:30 to 10:15 am. Funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame on Thursday, December 1st at 11 am.
