It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nora Babineau of Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine, NB, on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB, with her family by her side.

She was married to the late Aurèle Babineau (2010). She was a devoted wife and mother, always kind and loving and very appreciative of the visits and the care she received at the residence and at the hospital. She had worked for Les Filles De Jesus in Moncton, NB.

Born in Notre-Dame, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Osithe (née: Babineau) Cormier.

She will be sadly missed by her sons: Omer of Moncton, Eugène (Patsy) of Canaan Forks and Ronald of Dieppe; two granddaughters: Maryse and Rachel (Shawn); one brother, Normand (Dora) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Ida and Hélène and also by six brothers: Alyre, Clovis, Oscar, François, Blair and Alderic.

Visitation will be held from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Parish Salon, Notre-Dame, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame, NB, on Friday, November 28th, 2014 at 4 pm.  

Interment in the Parish Cemetery, Notre-Dame, NB.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Parish would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901).

Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le mardi 25 novembre, 2014, à l’âge de 95 ans, est décédée Nora Babineau. Elle demeurait à la Résidence Au Benaise, Saint-Antoine, N.-B.

 Née à Notre-Dame, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Alfred et de feu Osithe (née Babineau) Cormier.

Elle laisse dans le deuil trois fils: Omer de Moncton, Eugene (Patricia) de Canaan Forks et Ronald de Dieppe; deux petites-filles: Maryse et Rachel (Shawn); un frère, Normand (Dora) de Moncton, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.  

Deux sœurs: Ida et Hélène, ainsi que six frères: Alyre, Clovis, Oscar, François, Blair et Alderic, l’ont précédée dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la salle mortuaire Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame, N.-B., le jeudi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le vendredi de 14h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’Église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame, N.-B., le vendredi 28 novembre, 2014, à 16h.

L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissiale, Notre-Dame, N.-B.

Un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont ou au cimetière paroissiale serait apprécié par la famille.
