It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Norma Doucet,79, surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.
Born in Collette, NB, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and the late Florence DesRoches (Boucher).
Norma will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Yvon Doucet; her children: René Doucet and Denise (Kevin) Hodd; her grandchildren: Rebecca Hodd, Patrick (Caitlin) Hodd and Gabrielle (Marc) LeBlanc; her great grandchildren: Abigail LeBlanc, Olivier LeBlanc and Alexis Hodd; her siblings: Joan (late Roland) Léger, Sr. Jacqueline DesRoches, Marion (late Tommy) Collins, Melva (late Elmer) Aucoin, Doris (Arnel) Martin, Francis (Flora) DesRoches, Guilda (Joe) Cawley, Ghislaine (Claude) Richard, Réjeanne (late Vaughn) Gaudet, Laurie (Eva) DesRoches, Roberte (Helena) Bourgeois, Reynald (Suzanne) DesRoches, and Marilla (Alex) Bourque; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Emmerence (late Eugene) Haché, Lionel (Madeleine) Doucette, Fernand (Elvina) Doucet, Thérèse (Alvin) Arsenault, and Alexandre (Gracia) Doucette; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Linda, Rhéal (late Irene), Joseph, Léo (Odette), Ola, and Mona; as well as her sisters-in-law: Emé Doucet, Yvette (late Donald) Cormier, and Rita (Gilles) Perry.
A funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix RC Church (87 Murphy Ave, Moncton) on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, at 2:00pm, followed by a gathering at the Chevaliers de Colomb Hall (91 Murphy Ave, Moncton).
Donations in Norma’s memory can be made to the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.
