Norman J. LeBlanc, 85, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2012, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and the late Elodie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc had retired from Eastern Provincial Airways and was a member of Our Lady of Loretto parish.
He is survived by his wife, Mary R. (née: Hannan); three daughters: Gisele LeBlanc of Dieppe, Denise LeBlanc-Cormier (Paul Murphy) of Moncton and Claudette LeBlanc (Roland Hebert) of Grande-Digue; two sons: Donald (Jeanne-d’Arc Mallet) of Caraquet and George (Margaret) of Carleton Place, ON; two brothers: Aldric LeBlanc of Irishtown and Roger (Jean) LeBlanc of Cocagne; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers: Alcide, Paul, Romeo and Clarence; one son-in-law, Donald Cormier and also by one daughter-in-law, Anathalie Desrosiers.
Memorial mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn) on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 10 am.
Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Au Centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 10 février, 2012, à l’âge de 85 ans, est décédé Norman J. LeBlanc. Il demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Moncton, N.-B., il était fils de feu Olivier et de feu Elodie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Avant de prendre sa retraite, M. LeBlanc a travaillé chez Eastern Provincial Airways et il était membre de la paroisse Our Lady of Loretto.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Mary R. (née: Hannan); trois filles: Gisele LeBlanc de Dieppe, Denise LeBlanc-Cormier (Paul Murphy) de Moncton et Claudette LeBlanc (Roland Hebert) de Grande-Digue; deux fils: Donald (Jeanne-d’Arc Mallet) de Caraquet et George (Margaret) de Carleton Place, ON; deux frères: Aldric LeBlanc de Irishtown et Roger (Jean) LeBlanc de Cocagne; 10 petits-enfants; 7 arrière-petits-enfants, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nieces.
Quatre frères: Alcide, Paul, Romeo et Clarence; un gendre, Donald Cormier ainsi qu’une bru, Anathalie Desrosiers, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Une messe commémorative aura lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette (Lakeburn), le mardi 14 février, 2012, à 10h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
