It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman Kelley, 66, on Friday, August 30th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of the late Lester and the late Eloise Kelly (Duplessis).

Norman will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Marielle; his children: Martin (Jill) of Fredericton, NB, Nadine (Stephen) of Kingston, ON, and Phillipe (Melanie) of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren: Kole, Logan, Rowan, and Weston; his siblings: Ronald (Julia), Mina, Anne (Emilien), and Aldéi (Laurie-Anne); his aunts: Mina Mazerolle and Thérèse Cormier; his uncle, Alyre Duplessis; as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

Norman served in the military for 22 years. He loved animals, and spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting.

Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Friday, September 6th, 2024, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm, and again on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 9:00am until 10:45am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norman can be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.

  13. So many memories of Norm driving either driving us to or from whatever shenanigans Nadine and I had planned, they could be a 5 minute drive or a 2 hour drive, he was always up for it and listened to whatever song was our favourite.

    Norm, you will forever hold a place in my heart and my shoulder…with those finger pokes.

    Marielle, Martin, Nadine, Phil and families I am heartbroken over your loss please know you are in my thoughts.
