Norman Richard
1953 ~ 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother, Norman Richard. He passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2023, at the Moncton City Hospital after his courageous battle with cancer.

 He is survived by one brother, Ronald (Sheryl) of Maine; his sisters: Rachel Niles of Maine, Doreen (Mark) Judge of Florida, MarieAnne (Scott) Stewart of Riverview, NB; as well as his children: Nicholas (Alison), Corey (Sheena), Stephanie (Jason); his grandchildren: Evelyn, Skylar, and Declan; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Norman was predeceased by his mother, Florida (Breau) 2011; his father, Francois (Frank) 2011; his brother, Frank Jr. 2021; and his sister, Joanne 2018.

The family would like to express eternal gratitude to the 4200 wing of the Moncton Hospital for their kindness and care Norman received, with special thanks to Dr Harb, Dr Azim, Jonathan, Nicky, Kimmy, Katelyn, Haley, and Dannie.

Visitations will be held at Passage (625 Mountain Road, Moncton) on Friday, August 11th, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 12th, 2023 at 11:00am.

Donations in memory of Norman can be made to the oncology department of the Moncton Hospital or to one of his charities of choice: Make a Wish Foundation, IWK Health Centre, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

  1. My Sincere Condolences to all of Norman’s Family. We were Friends many years ago, somehow we got busy with life and lost touch with each other. He was a very nice and kind man. He would give you the shirt off his back. R.I.P. Norman 💙
