Normand Donelle

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond Donelle and the late Marie Pellerin.

Normand worked at Eaton’s for several years and retired as Plant Manager at Sumner’s in Moncton. He was also a 3rd degree with Knights of Columbus in Cocagne, and was very active in his community.

Normand will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Diana of Shediac (formerly of Cocagne); his three daughters, Angela (Roger) Vautour of Moncton, Joanne (Marc) Gallant of Shediac River and Nicole (Michel) Melanson of Grande-Digue; three sisters, Irène (late Joseph) Gaudet of Shediac, Rita (late Léo) Maçon of Montreal and Viola LaBrosse (late Edgar) of Vancouver; six grandchildren, Natalie, Sébastien, Mathieu, Gabriel, Chanelle and Denis; and his three great-grandchildren, Jasper, Zuri and Nova.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Edgar; and two grandchildren, Gilbert and Julien.

Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Co-operative and Cremation Center in Shediac Bridge on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be at Passage Funeral Chapel at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Society or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
