The son of the late Philias Poirier and Hermina Drisdelle, Normand was born December 6th, 1945, in Moncton.
Normand was employed by the Caisse Populaire of Rogersville and later worked for the Goguen Lumber Company in Cocagne. Normand was a hard and conscientious worker.
Normand greatly loved bowling. He loved card playing, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching golf on television.
Normand will be much missed by his wife, Jeanette; his daughter, Michelle (Devon) Ross; and his grandchildren, Makenzie, Scarlett, Logan, and Norah. He is also survived by his sisters, Dorine (Conrad) and Claudette (Guy); and his brothers, Roger (Linda), Leonard (Murielle), Claude (Carolle), and Daniel.
Visitation will take place at Saint-Pierre de Cocagne Church on Wednesday, July 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
