It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Normande “Norma” Collette, 77, on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Néri and the late Amanda Collette (Cormier).
Norma will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Kim (late Dan) McEwen of Irishtown; her two precious grandchildren: Tyler (Emily) and Jenna (Dylan Heino); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by all her siblings.
In respect to Norma’s wishes, there will be no visitations. A funeral service will be held at St. Augustine’s RC Church (340 Dominion Street, Moncton) on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at 10:00am.
Donations in memory of Norma can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Oncology Unit.

I’m saddened to hear of Normande’s passing. I met her as she was challenging her illness. She was always so friendly. She brought me some of her famous white chocolate candy one day which was delicious. She even brought in the recipe for me which I still have in her handwriting. A genuinely lovely person and I am blessed to have met her on her journey. May the family take solace in their memories of her. God’s blessings.
