Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB — Ola Saulnier, 58, passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side, on Saturday, June 13, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Élise Saulnier (born Hébert).
Ola will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Simonne Saulnier (born Melanson); his daughters, Claudette Taillon (Philippe) of Notre-Dame and Suzanne Saulnier (Mathieu Cormier) of Cocagne; his son, Jean (Manon Bastarache) of Notre-Dame; his grandchildren, Maxime, Aurélie, Sophia and Dominik; his sisters, Irène Goguen (Albert) of Cocagne, Rina Dupuis (late Léandre) of Ste-Marie and Claudia Gauvin (late Ulysse) of Cocagne; his brothers, Louis (Louise) of Notre-Dame and Jacques (Francine) of St-Antoine; also by sevral aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant brother, Clarence.
As per request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur RC Church in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 2 pm and will not exceed 50 people, due to the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
