It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Omer Arsenault, 83, on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Saint-John, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Irène Arsenault (Cormier).
Omer will be sadly missed by his two children: Gilles Arsenault of Grande-Digue, and Francine (Steven Goguen) Arsenault of Saint-Marcel-de-Kent; his grandchildren: Stéphane, Ashley (Jon), Mélanie (Shane), and Josée; his great grandson, Bryson; his siblings: Pierre (Lenda Williams) Arsenault of Edmonton, AB, Dianne (Aldorie) Richard of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, and Thérèse Boucher of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Argentine; his brothers: Alcide and Paul-Émile; as well as his sister, Rita (late Robert) Gallant.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Thursday, August 15th, 2024, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will be held at La Visitation de Grande-Digue RC Church (416 Route 530, Grande-Digue) at 3:30pm.
