Oneva Goguen, 90, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday December 27, 2023. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and the late Régina (Bastarache) Goguen.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters; Aldéa Arsenault (Noël) of Gardner, MA, Verna Albert of Saint-Antoine, Gloria Maillet (Roméo) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, one brother; Aldérice of Gardner, MA and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Deanna, Léona and Violet.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday December 29, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 3:00 pm, with interment in the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Parish Cemetery.
In Oneva’s memory, donation may be made to the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Parish Funds.
