Opal Chamberlain, 84, of Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton, passed away on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Dalhousie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Martin and the late Melanie (née: Chiasson) Chamberlain.
She is survived by two sisters: Thérèse (late Walter"Sam") Ciechon of Virginia Beach and Zita (late Roy) Preston of Moncton; one brother, Guy (Norma) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Marie.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm.
A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 27th, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation "Oncology" would be appreciated by the family.

Née à Dalhousie, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Martin et de feu Melanie (née Chiasson) Chamberlain.
Elle laisse dans le deuil deux sœurs: Thérèse (feu Walter”Sam”) Ciechon de Virginia Beach et Zita (feu Roy) Preston de Moncton; un frère, Guy (Norma) de Moncton; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Une soeur, Marie l’à précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901) le dimanche de 19h à 21h.
Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le lundi 27 février 2017 à 11h.
