St-Antoine, NB – Ovila Richard, 79, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence in Shediac, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Born in St-Ignace, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and Eva Richard (nee Daigle).

Ovila worked at General Motor in Oshawa, ON for 18 years.

Ovila will be sadly missed by his wife, Edith (nee Bourque); his two daughters, Diane Richard and Claudette Buller (Rick) both of Toronto, ON; his two brothers, Omer (Clarice) of Shediac Bridge and Maxime (Jeannette) of Dieppe; his sister, Aurore Allain (Normand) of Cocagne; his six grandchildren, Dawn, Rachel, Carley, Aimee, Taylor and Sydney; his two great grandchildren, Laila and Grace; also by several nieces and nephews and his extended family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Daniel.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9 am until of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Villa Providence in Shediac (Activity Dept.) or to a charity of your choice.
