Moncton, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia May Bonnell on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Springdale, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Olive Bonnell (Smith).
Patricia will be greatly missed by her sister, Carolyn (Briant) Folkins of Penobsquis; her extended family: Monique (Andrew) Hussey, Kayla Hussey, Ryan Hussey, Dan (Claudette) Perreault all of Moncton; her nieces and nephews: Elaine (Dan) Frye, Doug (Brenda Byrne) Folkins, John (Nancy) Folkins, Gerry (Cathy) Bonnell, Janet (Mark) Shannon, Heather (Ian) Frasier, and Donna Arnold; as well as several cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by six brothers: Doug Arnold, Gerald (Ted), Harold, Richard, and Owen; six step brothers: Harry, Fred, Calvin, Carson, William, and David; her step sister, Jean; as well as her best friend, Yolande.
Patricia loved her garden, long walks in the woods, golfing, bowling, curling, playing softball, and darts. She also loved watching any Toronto sports team, especially the Blue Jays. She cherished the trips she would take with her family, as well as her trips to her hometown of Sussex.
In respect to Patricia’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

So very sorry for your loss. Pat was always so friendly and always took the time to ask about the family whenever we saw her. . We will miss seeing her at family get togethers. Prayers for you all.
I have many treasured memories from the years I played softball with Pat. She was a talented player and a real joy to be around – both on and off the field. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Carolyn and Bryant, Ken and I were so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. But, she fought the good fight and deserves a great rest. Our love to you all.
Just learned of Patricia’s passing, she was a high school classmate of mine and I remember fondly,such a nice person, my condolences to her family.
