In Loving Memory Of
Patricia “Pat” Comeau
1948 ~ 2023

Dieppe, N.-B – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pat Comeau, 75, that occurred on May 19^th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.  

Born in St-Paul, NB, on April 15^th, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Abel Collette and the late Laurette (Richard) Collette.   

Pat’s love for her family and friends was most evident when you saw her talking and laughing on the phone or in a video chat with them. It is that love that gave her the strength to keep her spirits up through the tough days. Her devotion to her family and friends was second only to her devotion to God.  Her relationship with her loving husband Eric grew strong through many years of involvement in Marriage Encounter, Vivre et Aimer and Cursillo. They travelled all over North America together in their early retirement years. She loved learning about the history of different places they visited and she loved riding old fashioned railroads. She especially loved the Rocky Mountains and sunsets over the ocean. 

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Eric Comeau; her two sons: Jules Comeau (Mireille LeBlanc) of Scoudouc and Paul Comeau (Dominique) of Petawawa; her two grandchildren: Alexander Comeau (Shelby Mitchell) and Jacob Comeau both of Petawawa; her great grandchild, Theo; her three sisters: Yolande Comeau (late Eugene) of St-Antoine, Thérèse Collette of Beresford, and Wilma Collette of Lakeside, as well as many nieces and nephews.   

Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George (Adele) and by her sister, Claudia (infant).   

 
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Tuesday, May 23 from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, May 24^th from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant Jésus roman catholic church, Dieppe, on Wednesday, May 24^th at 6 pm.  

In Pat’s memory, a donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
