Coal Branch, NB – Patrick Leet, 68, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Born in Harcourt, NB, he was the son of the late Holly and the late Florence Leet (born Whalen).

He worked at Canadian Linen for many years. Pat (A.K.A Patty boy) was energetic, hard working and had a passion for dogs, Rottweiler’s in particular. He had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved the outdoors, staying in shape and he always kept himself busy to say the least.

Patrick will be sadly missed by his wife, Gail Leet of Coal Branch, NB; by his two sons, Robbie Beers (Elizabeth) of Fredericton, NB and Jeffrey Fitzsimmons; by his daughter, Amanda Mahoney (Michael) of Guelph, ON; by his brother, William Leet of Burlington, ON; by his two sisters, Margaret McPherson (Hector) and Rita Stone (late Clarence) of Truro, NS; by his seven grandchildren, Alyssa (Mylène), Cody, Morganne, Matthew, Michael, Mitchell and Jessie; also by his several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by eight brothers, Harry, Émile Maranda (late Ruby), Perley, John, Robert, Holly, Pat and Bill; also by three sisters, Emeline (late Art), Mary and Beaulah.

In respect to Patrick’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
