Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Auffrey, 79, on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 at the Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Philippe and the late Celina Auffrey (Bourque).

  4. To Mrs. Jeannine Auffrey and her family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Unfortunately I only got to meet Paul once and that was at his brother Edgar’s funeral. I was standing in the lobby off to the side, when I felt a poke in my back. I turned around to see who it was. Are my eyes that bad?, no one was there. Then I heard “Hello, I’m Paul.”, I looked down a foot or so and there he was, looking just like Edgar. In the few moments we shared talking, I understood why Edgar had such respect and love for his little brother. I am sure all of Paul’s brothers are handing him a pair of skates and a hockey stick, and they are having a heavenly time kickin’ ass on that frozen lake in the sky.
