Grande-Digue, NB – Paul Bourque, 71, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of Edmond and Emilia Bourque (Vautour).
Paul was an avid Boston Bruins fan, he liked to play cards and horseshoe. While taking care of his parent, he liked to cook for them by following many recipes in his recipe books. He was also a member and volunteer at “Club Chasse et Pêche” of Grande-Digue.
Besides his parents, Paul will be sadly missed by his siblings: Rita Melanson (Gérald) of St-Antoine, Jean-Guy (Stella) of Grande-Digue, Pierre (Denise Maillet) of St-Grégoire, Gilberte Allain (Louis) of St-Joseph and Adrienne Cormier (Junior) of Bouctouche; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB E4R 1T3 (532.1050), on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm and from 5:30pm until time of funeral celebration at the chapel at 7pm.
In Paul’s memory, a donation can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
