Born in Cap de Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Hervé and the late Anna Caissie (nee Arsenault). He worked at Continental Can Company for 36 years in Toronto.
Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Stella Caissie (nee Gallant) of Cocagne; by his three sons, Roger Caissie (Margaret) of Kitchener, ON, Paul Caissie Jr. of Toronto ON and Ivan Caissie of Shediac; by his two sisters, Georgette Cormier (Josepha) of Bouctouche and Lina Doucet (late Edouard) of Lynn, Mass.; by his two brothers, Alvin (late Emerise) of Grande-Digue and Bernard of Lakeville; by three grandchildren, Kerry-Anne Ross (Joe), Brittany Dubblestyne and Jocelyn Fisk (Tyler); by two great grandchildren, Gavin and Danica; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Geralda Gallant; by his six brothers, Henri, René, Louis, Valerie, Edgar and Armand.
As per Paul`s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at 10:30am.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Department) would be appreciated by the family.
