Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul J. Collette, 42, passed away in Huntington, West Virginia, USA, on Saturday, August 17, 2013, after a sudden illness.
Born in Waltham, Mass on September 26, 1970
He will be sadly missed by his father, Jean-Paul Collette (Brenda) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; his mother, Dorine Collette of Dieppe; his two daughters, Bianca Bastarache of Moncton and Samantha Belliveau of Memramcook; his two sisters, Tina Noël (Kevin) of Bathurst and Carole Collette of Bradford, ON; his three nephews, Peter, Anthony and Nicholas Gojamis all of Bradford, ON; also by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Paul worked in masonry, drywall, painting, carpentry and was extremely proud of his work. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. These were his passions. He had a great sense of humour.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Léondre and Georgina LeBlanc; his paternal grandparents, Phillipe and Mabel Collette.
Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel slumber room in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Monday, September 2, 2013, from 2 pm until time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel RC Church, on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 4 pm.
