Moncton, NB – Paul Richard, 80, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 25, 2016, after a brief illness.

Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Tilmon and Alvina (Cormier) Richard.

Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Huberte Dupuis; his five children, Jean (Kyung Sook), Jocelyne, Suzie, Sylvie (Yves Laviolette) and Philippe (Annie Fortin) all of Montréal, QC; his three stepchildren, Charline LeBlanc (Hélène) of Moncton, Joanne Black (Kenneth) of Hillsborough and Daniel LeBlanc (Renée) of Moncton; his siblings, Léopold (Blanche) of Rexton, Louise (Claude Tenière) of Halifax, NS and Tilmon of Moncton; his ten grandchildren, Stéphanie Richard-Laviolette, Jeffrey Mailloux, Tommy Mailloux, Alicia Richard, Britanny Richard, Mee so, Joon sue, Marc Sheppard, Michelle Comeau, Marika Emery; the mother of his children, Carole Doucet of Longueuil, QC; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews.

Besides his parent, he was predeceased by his three brothers and one sister, Yvon, Irène, Desiré and Louis; one stepson, Charles.

Visitations will be at Passage in Moncton (625 Mountain road), on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 10 to 11 am. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Moncton (625 Mountain road), on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11 am.
