Moncton, NB – Philippe Cormier, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton.
Born in Saint-Damien, he was the son of the late Honoré and the late Élise (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Philippe will be greatly missed by his four sons: Roger (Claudette) of Moncton, Donald (Geneviève) of Notre-Dame, Robert (Francine) all from Moncton, and Bernard (Sharon) of Dieppe; two daughters: Anne Marie (Gary) Dury and Dianne Cormier both of Moncton; fifteen grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; his sister, Alvina LeBlanc (late Paul); his daughter-in-law, Diane; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Thérèse; his son, Raymond; his sister, Emerise; as well as five brothers: Edouard, Henri, Joseph, Donat, and Aimé.
Philippe was a bus driver for Moncton Transit (Codiac) and SMT for many years, and then worked for Co-op as an inventory handler for 29 years. He loved playing his guitar while singing with his wife and friends.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Thursday, February 16th, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of service. The funeral service will take place in the chapel at noon.

it was a certainly an honor to care for your father ,as a PSW at the Faubourg from 2017 to 2019. He was always ready to share stories an look at his pictures.
