Shemogue, NB – Philippe Irénée Bourque, 78, passed away at the City Hospital in Moncton, on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, after a brief illness.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Philip and the late Irène Bourque (born Gallant).
Philippe will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Gloria Bourque (born Duguay); his children, Rachel Langille (Dennis) of Shemogue and Philip (Line) of Portage; his grandson, Ismael (Chanelle); his siblings, Clarence (Marguerite) of Shediac, Juliette Lirette (late Gérard) of Kitchener, ON, Yvonne Lemieux (Gérald) of Bromptonville, QC, Valerice LeBlanc (Arcade) of Shemogue, Simon of Dupuis Corner, Eloi (Sara) of Shemogue and Guy of Trois-Ruisseaux; his sisters-in-law, Lilianne of Shediac and Rosella of Shemogue; his brother-in-law, Normand Dollard of Scoudouc; by several cousins, nieces, nephews; also by his devoted dog, Coco that he loved very much.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Justine (Walter), Vitaline (Raoul), Adeline and Claire; his brothers, Ulysse, Robert and Emile.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, October 28, 2019, from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology), NB Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
