In Loving Memory Of
Philippe Jones
1963 - 2023

Please note that due to the weather, visitations have been postponed to Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The celebration of his life will follow at the chapel at 12 p.m. at Passage-Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901.

Dieppe, NB – At his loving family home in Dieppe, Philippe Jones, 60, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Born in Tracadie-Sheila, NB, he was the son of the late Raoul and Hermine Jones (Benoit).

Philippe will be sadly missed by his mother; his wife: Brigitte LeClair-Jones; his daughters: Abbie Gail Jones of Montreal, QC and Sarah Jones of Moncton; his siblings: Jean-Pierre of Tracadie-Sheila, Diane Jones of Moncton and Natalie Jones of Gatineau, QC; his two goddaughters: Céline and Rebecca; a friend of the family: Daniel St-Laurent of Gatineau, QC; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A logical man with great curiosity, he has been a mechanical engineer for 37 years and has worked with AEM for several years. He passed on this curiosity to his two daughters, his pride and his reason for being. He spoke with his actions; giving those around him time, help, listening and love. Philippe was a fisherman at heart.  We will long feel his presence among the waves.

Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm and on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2pm until 3:45pm and followed by the Celebration of his life in the Chapel at 4pm.

In Philippe’s memory, a donation can be made to the Suicide Prevention of NB, the Humanity Project (to feed the homeless in need).

  6. Brigitte , My most sincerest sympathy to you and your daughters at this terrible time of sorrow. He was a character to work with when we were both working at Carmichael Engineering. He was kind and funny. So sorry to hear of his passing, he will be missed.

The one thing that remained consistent each time we spoke was his passion.
