Bouctouche, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Phoebe Richard, 98, of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB, on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025.
Born in Richibucto-Village, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Bertha (Curwin) Michaud.
She is survived by her son, Billy Richard (Chantal) of l’Aldouane and by her sister, Joyce Thompson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dismas Richard; by her daughter, Stella Jeanne; by her sisters: Dolly, Mariam and Ruth and by her brother, Harry.
There will be no visitation prior to the service, funeral mass will be held from St-Antoine-de-Padoue RC Church, Richibucto-Village, NB, on Monday, October 20th, 2025, at 11 am.

I have grown with Dimass and Pheobe in my younger life in Leominster, Ma… They would have lots of fun and good times with my mother and father, Henry and Regina Boucher. They thought the world of Billy and were so proud of him. They were also all together everytime we went to the village to visit. Lovely people that will always put a smile on my face just thinking of them. They are together now and resting in each others arms.

My condolences to you Cousin Billy and your family. Your mother spoke of you in every conversation we had over the years. She loved you deeply.
I was so blessed to have had a visit with her a few years ago. Took her for a drive around the Cape and had ice cream.
Loved her memories and always wanted her to tell me about the farm. Her sister, Ruth, my mother, were very close growing up. So very blessed to have Aunt Phoebe in my life.
