Born in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Blair and Emeida Gautreau (nee LeBlanc). Pierre was a retired from the Department of Natural Resources.
Pierre will be sadly missed by his mother, Emeida Gautreau (nee LeBlanc) of Dartmouth, NS; by his daughter, Lise Cross (Jeremy) of Moncton; by his two sons, Alain and Luc (Rachel McBeath) all of Moncton; by the mother of his children, Carol Gautreau (nee Olscamp) of Moncton; by his three sisters, Gisèle Martin (Jean) of Grande-Digue, Louise Melanson of Dieppe and Yolande MacDonald (Tim) of Dartmouth, NS; also several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by a brother Paul.
As per Pierre’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, 87 Murphy avenue, Moncton on Monday, June 20th, 2016 at 11:00am.
