Pierre “Peter” Bourque, 63, of Dieppe, passed away on Saturday, February 13th 2010, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Dora (née: Gould) Bourque.
Mr. Bourque had worked at Adesa and Purolator. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus “Council 6796 Mgr. Donat-Chiasson”, the Club d’Age d’Or and the Sainte-Thérèse Parish, Dieppe, NB. He enjoyed bowling, darts and also volunteering his time.
He is survived by his wife, Raymonde (née: Landry); three sons: John-Paul (Mac) of London, ON, Michael and Mark Boughton (Maryse St. Onge) of Dieppe; one daughter, Marina Boughton (Laurent Poitvin) of St.-Hubert, QC; one sister, Jackie (Armand) Doiron of Dieppe; three brothers: Jean-Paul (Pierrette) of Pentington, BC, Robert (Simone) of Dieppe and Michel (Nancy) of Oshawa, ON; four grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Jonathon and Brandon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by one son, Howard in 1989.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Friday, February 19th 2010, at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Dieppe, N.-B., il était fils de feu Alfred et de feu Dora (née: Gould) Bourque.
M. Bourque avait été employé de Adesa et Purolator. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, Conseil Mgr. Donat Chiasson 6796, du Club D’Age d’Or de Dieppe et de la paroisse Sainte-Thérèse. Il aimait le jeux de quilles, de fléchettes et de faire du bénévolat.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse , Raymonde (née: Landry): trois fils: John-Paul (Mac) de London, ON, Michael et Mark Boughton (Maryse St. Onge) de Dieppe; une fille, Marina Boughton (Laurent Poitvin) de St.-Hubert, QC; une soeur, Jackie (Armand) Doiron de Dieppe; trois frères: Jean-Paul (Pierrette) de Pentington, C.-B., Robert (Simone) de Dieppe et Michel (Nancy) d’Oshawa, ON; quatre petits-enfants: Ashley, Brittany, Jonathon et Brandon, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents, un fils, Howard en 1989 l’a précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le jeudi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Sainte-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le vendredi 19 février 2010, à 11h.
L’inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Canadienne du Diabètes ou à la fondation des Maladies du Coeur serait appecié par la famille.
