Grande-Digue, NB – Rachelle Bourque-Sirois, 75, passed away peacefully at Moncton Hospice (Albert House), surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.  

Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Polly Bourque (Melanson).

Rachelle worked for Air Canada for over 25 years.

Rachelle will be sadly missed by her husband: Pierre Sirois; her stepdaughter: Isabelle Sirois of Moncton; her step-grandsons: Cooper and Max Weststrate and their father: Arlan Weststrate; her siblings: Arthur Bourque of Moncton, Emery “Schmith” Bourque of Dieppe, Murielle Bernard (Paul-Émile) of Dieppe, Lucille Slattery (Jim) of Grande-Digue and Roméo Bourque of St-Anselme; also by her nieces and nephew: Maneau (Jake), Josée, Marcel (Rachelle), Meghan (Glenn), Jennifer (Andrew) and Danielle (Sam); her great nephews and niece: Emily, Nicholas, Miguel, Rémy, and Liam.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew, Jean Bourque.

Visitation will be held at Passage/Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901, on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 9:30am to 11:30am and from 2pm to 3:50pm. Funeral service will follow at Passage/Chartersville Chapel at 4pm. Mask is mandatory at all time in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Moncton Hospice (Albert House).

  1. So very saddened to hear of Rachelle’s passing… our prayers go out to the family at this most difficult time. Ours hearts are grieving with you on the loss of such a wonderful person..may she Rest In Peace and forever be out of pain and suffering! She was a great lady!

  4. So shocked and sadden by the passing of your dear sister Rachelle, Lucy. I have fond memories of the sweet person she was, I still see her standing in Jennifer’s Cottage, chatting, and always with a great smile, and visiting her cottage. So sorry to Pierre, a wonderful husband who will miss her
    tremendously, as Everyone will. I know she’s already having Tea with your Mom in Heaven,
    and now watching over all of you. Watch for Angel Wings in the Sky. That will be Rachelle. 😇

  11. My sincere condolences for the passing of Rachelle. Rachelle and I were best friends since grade 4 and godmother to my youngest daughter. Her generous and fun loving nature will be missed. Remembering all the great times we had together in our youth.
