Trois-Ruisseaux, NB – Ralph Leger, 67, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Gervais and Lorraine (Brun) Leger.
Ralph will be sadly missed by his wife, Claudine (Walsh) Leger; his two daughters, Nicole Tucker (Robert) of Kitchener, ON and Kerri Lynn Christopher (Johnathan) of Fort McMurray, AB; his six brothers, Guy (Madeleine), Roland (Janice), Gilles (Jocelyne) and Victor all of Trois-Ruisseaux, Daniel (Jeanne) of Cap-Pelé and Roussel (Denise) of Trois-Ruisseaux; his five sisters, Francine Donelle (Gérard) and Léonette Bourque (Donald) both of Cap-Pelé, Rolande (Claude) of St-Jacques, Ginette (Adrice) of Cap-Pelé and Janise of Troix-Ruisseaux; his two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann and Mona both of Trois-Ruisseaux; his two grandchildren, Abigail and Lucas Tucker; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Levi, Lorenzo, Réginald and Michel; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Gertie Walsh.
Visitations will be at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Slumber Room, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:30 until time of funeral service at 11 am at the Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé. Following the service Ralph’s family invites everyone to join them for a reception at the Golden Age Club in Cap-Pelé.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Red Cross or to the Parish Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
