In Loving Memory Of
Raoul Cormier
1938 - 2021

Raoul Cormier of Dieppe, NB passed away at 83 years old on December 27th, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton. Raoul was originally from Nigadoo, NB.

He will be missed by Nelda, his wife of 64 years; his son Michel (Diane) of Dieppe; his daughter Suzanne (Michael Lukca) of Orleans, ON; his grand-children, Christine, Philippe, Stephanie and Melanie, his great-grand-children, Liliane, Alex, Skyla and Nash; his sisters, Jacqueline (late Donald Comeau) of Moncton, Georgette (Léon Thérieault) of Bathurst, Juliette (Wayne Keays) of Tide Head and Francine of Saint-Augustin, QC; as well as two brothers in law and several nephews and nieces.

He now rests with his parents Philippe and Berthilde Cormier and his sisters, Gilberte and Colette.

Raoul worked many years for Atlantic Wholesales and Irving Oil Limited. He loved music, especially playing the saxophone, and he loved to travel with his wife and children. His life passion was to make others laugh; he could see humour in every situation.

In respects of Raoul’s wishes, there will be no visitation, the Funeral service will be held at Ste-Thérèse-de-l’ Enfant-Jésus RC Church of Dieppe, on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at 2pm.  

A special heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Residence Beaux Souvenirs, Dr. Teakles, Dr. Marc Savoie, Dr. Ali Benjelloun and staff at the hospital for their compassion and expertise.

  6. So sad to hear of Raoul’s passing. My heartfelt and sincere condolences to Nelda, Michel and Sue. I will always remember Raoul’s great sense of humor and will always cherish the fond memories I have while growing up. So many pictures of trips taken with my parents to wood crafts he made for me which I still have and his funny stories. He was a great man, will always be in my heart and never forgotten. Love you all
