Raymond Collette, 65, of Bouctouche has passed away on Monday September 8th, 2008 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent, after a lengthy illness. Married to Anise (LeBlanc) Collette, he was born in Bouctouche on January 5th, 1943 to the late Albert and the late Marguerite (LeBlanc) Collette.
Raymond worked as a roofer with Boudreau Sheet Metal before his illness forced him to stop working.
He is survived by his wife Anise, two sons; Steven (Nicole) of Grande-Digue, Yvon (Tarra) of Richiboucto-Village, four grandchildren; Jessica, Stephanie, Jérémie, Anika, two sisters; Patricia Duplessis, Odette Allain (Léopold) both of Bouctouche, two brothers; Joseph (Dorina), Mélas (Marie-Rose) both of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday September 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on September 10th, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
