In Loving Memory Of
Raymond Cormier
1958 ~ 2023

Moncton, N.-B – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Cormier, that occurred at the Moncton Albert Hospice House, in Moncton, on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023, at the age of 65.

Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Dismas Cormier and the late Herminie (Goguen) Cormier.

In addition to his work as a welder, he was also a skilled handyman. From renovations to car repairs, he was always up for a challenge and would never shy away from a difficult task. He was a true jack of all trades and could be counted on to lend a hand whenever someone needed it.

He will be sadly missed by his loving partner of 5 years, Yolande Pitre; his two sons: Réjean (Yzabelle Basque) of Dieppe and Jaco (Alysha Whiteley) of Moncton; his stepson, Charles Boucher (Joanne Poirier) of Shediac River; his stepdaughter, Amanda Bastarache (Rick Pitre) of Saint-Paul; his special beloved granddaughter, Alice Cormier; his three brothers: Paul Cormier (Linda) of Moncton, Albini Cormier and Désiré Cormier both of Bouctouche, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his loving dog, Chip.

Visitation will be held from the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Monday, May 29th from 4pm to 6:20pm followed by the funeral service at the same location at 6:30 pm.
