RAYMOND “RAY” HEBERT

Ray Hebert, 80, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lakeburn, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and the late Jeanne (née: Cormier) Hebert.
Prior to retirement, Ray worked for MacDonald Paving and Construction Limited as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of St. Bernard’s parish, Moncton, NB.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roberta (née: MacDonald); two daughters: Lana (Claude) Hebert-Poirier of Moncton and Lynne (Luc) Hebert-Ouellette of Lantz, NS; two sons: Paul (Lisa) of Stillwater Lake, NS and Peter (Kelly) of Moncton; Rob (Lisa) MacDonald of Dieppe, who was like a son; one sister, Corinne (late Clarence) Allain of Dieppe; six brothers: Rene (Laura) of Wasaga Beach, ON, Euclide (Eveline) of Moncton, Oscar (Dorothy) of Hamilton, ON, Yvon (Roberta) of Moncton, Ron of Bathurst and Emile (Andréa) of Dieppe; 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Sarah, Ashleigh, Liam, Kayla as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four sisters: Anna, Lorette, Marguerite and Rufine and also by one brother, Blair.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure .Funeral mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Loretto Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn, NB on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

À l’Hôpital de Moncton, le mercredi 30 septembre 2009, entouré de sa famille à l’âge de 80 ans, est décédé Ray Hebert, domicilié à Dieppe, N.-B. Né à Lakeburn, N.-B., il était fils de feu Henri et de feu Jeanne (née: Cormier) Hebert.

Avant sa retraite, Ray avait travaillé chez MacDonald Paving and Construction Limited comme mécanicien sur équipement lourd. Il était membre de la paroisse Saint-Bernard, Moncton, N.-B.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 45 ans, Roberta (née: MacDonald); deux filles: Lana (Claude) Hebert-Poirier de Moncton et Lynne (Luc) Hebert-Ouellette de Lantz, N.-E.; deux fils: Paul (Lisa) de Stillwater Lake, N.-E. et Peter (Kelly) de Moncton; comme un fils, Rob (Lisa) MacDonald de Dieppe; une soeur, Corinne (feu Clarence) Allain de Dieppe; six frères: Rene (Laura) de Wasaga Beach, ON, Euclide (Eveline) de Moncton, Oscar (Dorothy) de Hamilton, ON, Yvon (Roberta) de Moncton, Ron de Bathurst et Emile (Andréa) de Dieppe; 5 petits-enfants: Ryan, Sarah, Ashleigh, Liam, Kayla ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Quatre soeurs: Anna, Lorette, Marguerite et Rufine ainsi qu’un frère, Blair l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le vendredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que le samedi de 9h jusqu’au départ.Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette (Lakeburn), le samedi 3 octobre, 2009 à 11h. L’inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
