Born in Daniel’s Cove, Nfld, he was the son of the late Patrick and the late Joanna (Hogan) Howard.
Prior to his career in insurance, Ray went to RCMP depot and after graduation was posted in Bridgetown, NS. He then went on to McGill University to get his degree and retired in 1997 as an insurance adjuster.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Peggy (Wood); his children: Lynne Hayden (Randy), Mike Howard (Tina) and Paul Howard (Lynn); 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic and in respect of the family’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service.
