Cormier-Village, NB – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond “Ray” LeBlanc at his home on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the age of 73.

Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Aristide and the late Ethel LeBlanc (Curtis).

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Janice; his children: Jennifer Pratte (Paul) of Qualicum, BC and Janot LeBlanc of Cormier-Village; his granddaughter: Novie; his siblings: Aris (Alfreda) of St-André, Norraine Robinson (late Fred) of California, USA, Lorette LeBlanc of Cap-Pelé, Gene (Diane) of Dupuis Corner, Rosaline LeBlanc of Sudbury, ON, Louis of St-André, Normand (Melissa) , David (Maria Richard) both of Dupuis Corner and Geraline Babineau of Cap-Pelé; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews, his in-laws and extended family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters: Camilla (late Fred) and Diana; his brother: Ronald (late Alvetta).

Ray was a friend to everyone that knew him. He was an avid sportsman and he loved to laugh, go for day trips in the maritime, landscaping, walking on the shore where he could find driftwood, sea glass and rocks to create his little “Ptit Nook”.

As per Ray’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

  4. We are sad to hear about the passing of Ray; a kind soul & great man that loved to laugh, always made us welcome in his home growing up with Janot. To Janot, Janice and all his extended family, our heartfelt condolences it can’t be easy. Big hugs❤️
