It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymonde St-Laurent, 93, surrounded by family, on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Albénie and the late Estelle Morais (Lanteigne).
Raymonde will be sadly missed by her children: Nicole St-Laurent-Ward (Wayne) of Memramcook, Monique Foran (Paul) of Dieppe, Claudette Boyd (Paul) of Dartmouth, NS, and Roger St-Laurent (Julie Corey) of Salisbury; her grandchildren: Jason, Stéfan, Jessica, Crystal, Stephen, and Mélanie; her siblings: Mona St-Laurent of Bathurst, Adrien Morais (Jane) of the United States, and Charles Morais of Montreal; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Georges St-Laurent; and her siblings: Domitien, Yolande, Germaine, Lorraine, Antonine, and André.
Raymonde was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chantal Gallant, Dr Bernard Godin, and the staff of unit 3A at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for their great care.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Monday, June 16th, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the Ste-Thérèse RC Church (457 Acadie Ave, Dieppe) at 3:45pm.
Donations in memory of Raymonde can be made to the local Foodbank.
