Shediac Bridge, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Réginald Babineau on Thursday, December 19, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton at the age of 69.
Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Régina Babineau (born Goguen) of Acadieville, NB.
Réginald will be sadly missed by his two brothers, Léo-Paul (Cécilia) of Scoudouc and Louis (Joanne) of Dieppe; two sisters, Anna Babineau-Thériault (Maurice) of Moncton and Lina (Roger Arsenault) of Bouctouche; seven step-children, Paul Fougère of Montreal, Pierre Fougère (Paulette), Jeannette Landry (Gilles), Cécile Fougère all of Moncton, Maurice Fougère (Lynn) of Riverview, Louise Babineau (Mark) of Shediac Bridge and Monique Fougère of Moncton; twelve step-grandchildren and seven great step-grandchildren; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by wife, Elizabeth; one sister, Yolande Tower and one brother, Rodrigue.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 10 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 11 am.
