Grand-Barachois, NB – Réginald Babineau, 96, passed away at Villa Providence in Shediac, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 25, 2016.
Born in Grand-Barachois, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond and Sara (Bourque) Babineau.
Réginald will be sadly missed by his wife, Louise (LeBlanc) Babineau; his two stepdaughters, Noëlla Dupuis (Joseph) and Gloria Arsenault (Tilmon) both of Shediac; his two sisters, Rina LeBlanc (Edgar) and Dorothy Brun (late Omer) both of Cap-Pelé; his brother, Louis Babineau (Jeannette) of Richibouctou; his four step-grandchildren; his nine step great-grandchildren and his two step great-great-granddaughters; also by several nieces, nephews.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Funeral service will be held at St-Henri de Barachois RC Church in Grand-Barachois, on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 4 pm. A reception will follow at Golden Age Club.
Besides his parent, he was predeceased by his first wife, Rita LeBlanc; two brothers, Mélaime and Théophile; two sisters, Marguerite and Elzéa.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
