Passed away peacefully at the Ocean Hall residence in Moncton NB. On September 14 th , 2026 at the age of 90 years old.
He was the husband of Martha (Smith) Roy
Born on July 9 th , 1936; He was the son of the late James “Jack” Roy & Roseanna (Cormier) Roy
He will be greatly missed by family, his wife Martha and two children, his son Marc-André (Isabelle) his daughter Carolyn (late Claude), his grandchildren Mélanie (Mike) & Jesse (Virginie), his great grandchildren Mila, Casey, Livia and soon to be born Evan, his great grandchildren
by alliance Hunter, Zach & Jake. As well as all his sisters and brother in-laws, many nephews & nieces.
Equally many friends spanning from the Atlantic coast, Québec and Ontario.
He is predeceased by all of his brothers & sisters (Dolphé, Hermyl, Adrien, Gérard, Ligouri, Cécile, Clarisse, Eulalie).
As per his wishes, there will be no visits at the funeral home.
There will be a private celebration of life with family & friend’s on a later date.
The family would like to thank the Ocean Hall staff for the care during his stay.
In memory of Reg Roy, a donation to the charity of Alzheimer’s (dementia) association or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
