Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Généreuse (née: Landry) Bourque.
Prior to retirement, Régis worked as a mailman with Canada Post.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Maria LeBlanc; his son, Jean LeBlanc (Lisa); his grandchildren: Monica, Miguel and Janelle; his sisters: Rosé Melanson (Normand) of Massachusetts, Jeannine Leger (Alias) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Rose-Marie Robichaud (Léo) of Cocagne and Cécilia Bourque (late Donald) of Richibouctou-Village; his brothers: Clarence Bourque (Pauline) of Moncton, Blair Bourque (late Angela) and Rhéal Bourque (late Joanne) (Linda), both of Notre-Dame, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Rollande (née: St-Pierre); his sisters: Claudette, Yvette, Linda and Marie and also by his brothers: Romuald, Roger, Normand, Gerard and Clifford.
Public visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 from 9 am until 10:45 am. Funeral will be celebrated from the chapel, with a maximum of 60 peoples at 11 am, it will be broadcast online at: www.facebook.com/PassageFH.
