René Savoie, 35 of Shediac and formerly of Bouctouche passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday June 30th, 2010. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on November 5th, 1974, he was the son of Irenée and Jeannine (Bastarache) Savoie.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Irenée Savoie of Cocagne and Jeannine (Bastarache) Savoie of Shediac, his daughter Mélanie of Shediac, one sister, Joanne Savoie (Roger Robichaud) of Scoudouc, two brothers, Adrien (Rose-Marie) of Bouctouche, Daniel of Shediac, and three nephews, Rémi, Denis and Mathieu. He also leaves to mourn several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday July 4th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday July 5th, 2010 at 11:00 am. Internment will be in the Sainte-Anne de Kent parish cemetery.
