Shediac, NB – René Babineau, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Villa Providence in Shediac.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Delphis and the late Evelyne Babineau (Richard).
René will be sadly missed by his daughter, Renette Dupuis (Danny) of Memramcook; his grandchildren: Stéphanie (Justin), Dominique (Danny), Christian (Lucie) and Pascale; his great grandchildren: Emerik, Isaac and Jade; his siblings: Ronald (Linda) of Cocagne, Bertha Cormier (late Édouard) of Bouctouche and Jeannita Cormier (late Paul) of Lancaster, Mass; his sisters-in-law: Rhéa of Lynn, Mass and Pauline of Shediac Bridge; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, René was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Cormier) in 2020; his brothers: Edgar, Normand, Médric and Hervé; his sister, Edith (Félix).
A Celebration of his life will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:30 am (with a maximum of 60 people).
