Dieppe, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rhéaldine Lirette, 82, that occurred on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at her residence. 

Born in Fox Creek, she was the daughter of the late Fred LeBlanc and the late Lucie (Bourque) LeBlanc. 

Prior to her retirement, Rhéaldine worked as an adjuster with Commercial Union Insurance and was a member of the Saint-Anselme Golden Age Club.  She loved gardening, working in her flower beds and cheering for the Montreal Canadians. During her retirement years, she and Armand enjoyed many organized trips throughout Canada, US and Europe. In her later years she took pleasure in participating in the various activities at the Maison Doiron, especially a good game of cards.    

She will be sadly missed by her two children: Jacques Lirette (Nathalie) of Montréal, and Janice Lirette Evers (Patrick) of Dieppe; her four grandchildren that she was especially proud of: Marc (Emilie), Pierre, Renée-Anne, and Alexie; her brother, Rhéal (Adélice) LeBlanc of Dieppe; her sister, Lucille Chénard (late Rodrigue) of Gatineau; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Armand Lirette (2020); as well as her sister, Maria (Jacques). 


Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Sunday, November 3rd, from 1 to 4 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Anselme RC Church, 1014 Amirault St, Dieppe, on Monday, November 4th, at 11 am. The funeral mass will be recorded, and will be available on our website on Monday afternoon.  

If desired, a donation in memory of Rhéaldine, can be made to the Moncton Albert Hospice House, Tree of Hope Campaign, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  2. So very sorry to read of Rhealdines passing. Sincere sympathy to all the family. She attended our monthly get together of the retired Insurance Women. We are all saddened with this news. Some of us plan to attend the funeral.

Il me semble que le voisinage ne sera plus pareil de par son absence. On la voyait souvent passer devant la maison, en allant prendre sa marche. Et des fois, elle arrêtait jaser.
